Sterling, Virginia, USA, November 1, 2007 - Simena®, a leading manufacturer of innovative network testing equipment, announced today that it has signed a partnership agreement with Turkcell Communications Services PLC, the largest GSM operator in Turkey. The relationship was formed based on the combined ambition of creating the next generation testing and monitoring solutions for latest networking technologies.

Under this agreement, experienced engineers at Simena and Turkcell will work together in designing and developing products which will be used for monitoring, measurements and testing of new protocols and applications.

“Our aim is to develop a test system, targeting IP based infrastructure and services mainly for real world conditions and operations. This system will be a great way to automate and simplify the testing process of innovative operator services that run on next generation networks.” said Semih Incedayi, Turkcell R&D Division Head.

Simena’s existing product families such as Network Emulators and Traffic Generators will be enhanced with these new features.
