Simena® Expands in EU

Sterling, VA, September 30, 2008 — Simena, a leading manufacturer of innovative network testing equipment, announced today that it has expanded its coverage in Europe by signing a distributorship agreement with ATL Ltd., a top provider of network testing solutions in both Hungary and Romania. Founded in 1994 and currently has offices in both countries, ATL has now extended their product portfolio with Simena solutions.

Simena’s products enable users to have proactive and effective network testing. One of the major product lines, Network Emulators using patent pending technologies are appliances that emulate network conditions and problems at wire speeds on a live traffic to allow realistic testing of network applications and equipment. These products are widely used by VoIP, IPTV, and other Internet based service providers, and equipment manufacturers. Network emulators help users to save money and time during QA tests as well as to minimize the application failures and service interruptions. Simena’s other product family which is Traffic Generator, with wire speed Capture&Replay™ and traffic injection features, can be used for high speed traffic generation for VoIP, IPTV, QoS and other networking technologies.
